LUCY & NATHAN married at MARSHALL MEADOWS MANOR, A Manor House IN the NORTHUMBERLAND countryside.

WHICH MRS W DRESS DID YOU WEAR AND HOW DID YOU KNOW IT WAS THE ONE

I wore Lola Varma “Giadi” and paired it with the Vagabond Bridal “Eos Cape” even though they were from different designers entirely, they were a match made in heaven!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO VISIT MRS W AND HOW DID YOU FIND US? TELL US ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE.

From the first Instagram click I knew I was going to find my dress with MRS W, I was obsessed. My experience was just dreamy. From my first appointment I felt so comfortable. I found shopping for dresses quite an intimidating process but Lauren made it everything I could have ever wished for. Going back for further appointments just made me even more excited!

what fragrance did you wear?

I wore two Jo Malone scents - Peony Blush & Suede and English Pear and Freesia. I took inspo from my ultimate style icon, Sofia Ritchie.

did you visit many bridal boutiques before finding your dress?

I visited 2 other bridal boutiques before coming across the fabulous MRS W.

Talk to us about your bridal dress journey. Did you always have a certain dress designer or style in mind? How did you start your dress journey?

To begin with I really found it hard with dresses. I knew I wanted something chic, timeless and minimal. Finding exactly what I had envisioned in the North East was proving to be very difficult. I really struggled to find something that suited my body and my dress preferences.

tell us about when you met your husband and how did you know he was the one?

Me and Nathan met when we were 12 at high school. I asked him to be my boyfriend when we were 14 (embarrassing), I always dreamed I would marry him. 12 and a half years, a little girl and a global pandemic later and the rest is history!

ThE PROPOSAL

It was on our 10 year anniversary in January 2021, in our front room with a screaming 1 year old who didn’t want to be there, loads of candles and so, so much love. It was genuinely the most perfect moment of my life (besides giving birth hahaha)

favourite moments from the day?

There are just so many! The happy tears, my goodness I really did not expect everyone to cry as much, including myself! The dance floor was constantly full and I was obsessed with some of the moves being thrown around!

Our last dance song was “Dog Days Are Over” by Florence and the Machine and the roof lifted. The atmosphere is something I’ll remember forever.

what would be your advice to brides looking for their dress? Any top tips?

Don’t be scared to try something you think isn’t going to work because it just might.
